Baggage

We arrived on Saturday (the day before our reservation started – I had booked us into a small motel for the night so we could be rested and get our full lesson the next day). I began to get more and more excited as we neared the end of our 4+ hour drive. As we crossed the border into Vermont, my heart began to sink. The ground was not white. It was brown. Perhaps it was different at a higher elevation. An hour later we neared the ski area and it was still a muddy brown. It was then that I realized how I got such a great deal. It was the end of March. Ski season was nearly over and snow was mainly done. It began to rain, then pour.
