The book, "Yes, I Am a Military Child" used with the CD, "Military Child That's Me!" and this teaching resource "Celebrate Military Kids!" describes what life can be like for a Brat and are central to this program. In an all-encompassing way, it honors the military life experience of a child. Though unsaid, it is written with compassion and understanding that children may have lost a parent. This program nurtures and acknowledges loss even from far away. From one heart to another, the child hears 'I Love You'.

About the Author
Laura is a teacher with extensive experience working with children and families on U.S. military locations in the US and overseas. For 10 years she was a volunteer Navy Children's Story Time program creator and presenter. Throughout this time, she too was a military wife and mother. She continues to teach, write and sing, and owns 'Miss Laura's Music & Play, Inc.' located in Minnesota.
