About the Book
In this compelling memoir, Refinement by Fire, you will read about how one man learned from his personal life as he reflects, explores, and investigates the meaning of his life’s struggles. Through the struggles of life, Asekor shares how he came to learn that God puts us through situations because he wants us to draw closer to him and learn from our situations to help others. Struggles tend to bring us to our knees, and there we seek God when we are at our last.
This story shares of the horrors of the Liberian civil war, the heartache of a parents’ divorce, a sibling’s and other family’s deaths, and the struggles of mental health. All of which forced him to grow up fast and learn to fully depend on God’s love and guidance.
