Detective Platypus

King Bewilder’s cook, Chef Buzz, is frantic because the bees have been stolen from the Palace. The bees make all the honey for King Bewilder. She tells the King there is no more honey for his biscuits. The King is upset because he loves honey. She asks King Bewilder to help find and return the bees and the beehive to her. King Bewilder needs to have the best detective on the case. He calls Detective Platypus. While fishing at Lake Honeysuckle, Detective Platypus answers the phone and tells his assistant Harlowe Hedgehog they have a new mystery to solve. As they set out to investigate, Detective Platypus grabs his magnifying glass and puts on his favorite detective hat. Walking through the woods, Harlowe asks what do bees sound like and what does a beehive look like. Soon they find a clue – a trail of honey. Using the magnifying glass, they follow the trail, and to their surprise, they see Raspy Raccoon sitting on a log, eating toast and honey. Detective Platypus and Harlowe take Raspy, the bees, and the beehive back to the Palace. Chef Buzz asks Raspy why did you steal the honey? Raspy says because he loves honey and has none. Chef Buzz said all you have to do is ask for the honey, and I will give you some. Everyone sits around the kitchen table eating honey and biscuits. King Bewilder thanks Detective Platypus and Harlowe for their hard work solving the honey mystery. Detective Platypus and Harlowe walk back to Lake Honeysuckle, and Harlowe says, “I wonder what our next mystery will be.” Detective Platypus laughs and says, “Let's go catch some fish, Harlowe.”
