Issa the Engineer

Issa was a little girl with afro hair adorned with beautiful curls. Confident and smart, she had a curious heart. She'd sketch tall skyscrapers in the sky, cars, and planes that could fly high. Issa even drew herself in a crane with a beaming face, not ever feeling that she was out of place. As Issa watched her Dad work on his car, she noticed the weather changed. So, Issa’s Dad, ran in from the rain, with grease on his hands, scratching his brain. Issa asked, “Daddy, did you finally get the car to start?!” Curious Issa wondered, with wide eyes that shone, How things worked and moved on their own. “Not yet, my dear. I need one more part.” “Daddy,” said Issa, her passion awakes “What does it take, what does it need, how can we make this car thrive? Teach me, Daddy, so we can take it for a drive!”
