Look up at these trees. The Giant Sequoia trees are some of the tallest and biggest in the world. They can grow up to 300 ft tall and 40 ft wide. One tree here, named General Sherman, is the biggest in the world. Get a good pair of hiking boots, although there are trees big enough to drive through, most of Sequoia National Park can only be accessed by foot or horseback.

Let’s go on an adventure! Kambria has a magic trick; she can go anywhere, and she doesn’t need a car, a train, or a plane. All she needs is her imagination! Kambria’s imaginary exploration takes her from coast to coast across the country as she shares interesting facts for everyone to enjoy. This children’s story introduces many of the largest and most well-known national parks in the United States with descriptions and fun facts about each one.

Karissa Nix is a mother and educator with a master’s degree in education. She has been writing since childhood; I Can Go Anywhere: National Parks is the first book of a planned series.
