About the Author

Janette V. Perla (aka The U-Kool-Lady) is a retired elementary school teacher & musician. After retirement, she started her own Ukooladies Band with other retired ukers. She loves garlic, puns, her daughters Jolie, Aly, and Mele, her granddaughter Sofia, and long time partner, Norm. She lives in San Jose, California.
