About the Book
When Indie Rose’s homework paper goes missing, her worries kick into full gear. Her vivid imagination leads her to fantasize the existence of an Unknown Thing that must have eaten it. Her anxiety grows until she decides, with the help of her stuff ed animal friends, to tackle the problem head on.
About the Author
Robert Meganck is Professor Emeritus of Communication Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University where he taught classes in graphic design, illustration, color theory, and digital imaging. He received a BFA degree from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, and an MFA degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfi eld Hills, Michigan. After he retired from teaching, his illustration focus shifted from editorial illustration to children’s book illustration. He recently completed his seventh illustrated book for Peachtree Publishers. Style Weekly (September 5, 2007) named Robert Meganck one of Richmond’s top 25 most infl uential artists. Matthew Porter of Communication Arts Magazine called Robert “a delightfully fuzzy-headed raconteur.”
