Students should realize they are, in numbers, more powerful than politicians and those controlling politicians. This is a call for taking action in school, rather than only studying how to take action. This is how to reign in politicians, with logic and student activism. This book is a focus on politics and government, with education as a recurring theme. It provides reference material (ideas and sources) for learning and teaching Public Policy and Civics as well as engaging in participatory politics. With this education and participation, solutions of societal improvements to problems impeding happiness should logically map, in opposition to illogical solutions commonly offered by politicians and other governmental actors. Problem-solving techniques developing from root-proximate cause theory is a solid application to identify root causes, then solutions. As political and governmental structure changes, corruption maintains prevalence due to a largely uneducated society regarding civics. Our justice system and functional society begin with a seven-page generalized document called the Constitution, within which the need for future amending is established. This amending is frequently occurring by lawmakers, governmental agencies, and courts. This amending is designed with balances of coordination and cooperation within these three entities. This design is imprecise as it changes and contradicts. Consequently, laws, regulations, and practices establishing cooperating and coordinating methods change and contradict. Unfortunately, cooperation within a hierarchical design eventually overpowers coordination. Partial restitution for those indigenous to North America and African Americans is substantiated to influence nationwide U.S. government-stimulated infrastructure. This substantiation includes descriptions of atrocities committed to include slavery, torture, land theft, genocide, sterilizations, sex slavery, and religious indoctrination. Positive aspects of these two minorities include historical existences, migrations, contributions and accomplishments, and livelihoods. Affordable housing and employment are addressed.
