'Jamar had been up to no good all night on the east side. He and five other guys had caught the train to Philadelphia to run up on some dudes that shot at them a few weeks ago at a party they attended in the southwest section of the city. Jamar had been running with the West Side Bricks for nearly four years. ‘Getting in trouble’ was his middle name. He rarely attended school. And when he did decide to step foot in Marshall Sr. High, he did nothing but lollygag, sleep in class, or be a nuisance. Teachers were sick of him. They only passed him through because Gina had begged the Principal to keep him enrolled just so he could have a chance in life should he ever decide to turn his life around, he could at least claim he was a high school graduate. Jamar had been a problem child ever since he turned twelve.'

Jamar Tucker, a 16-year-old, out of control teen, who had been inducted into the vicious circle of a violent street gang at the age of 12, gets a wake up call after a dose of reality suddenly finds him fighting for a second chance. About the Author
LENA M. LEE, a native of southeastern Pennsylvania developed her love for writing, art, fashion and inventions at an early age. In 2000, Lee was awarded a utility patent for dolls she created that were of no race or nationality for both boys and girls called “The Lollipop Tots” and has written 16 short stories about the dolls. Her first published of the series, The Lollipop Tots -The Great Parade. She is also the published author of “Panic in the Jungle” and has a patent pending for a multifunctional laptop invention which she won first place at West Chester University in 2014 for most innovative new idea. In her spare time, Lee enjoys reading, drawing and spending time with her family.
