About the Author
Suraj S. Shah is a high school student (Class of 2026) in Orange County, California. He has served in several leadership roles, including the president of his class. He is a nationally competitive debater and the founder of a nonprofit organization that increases access to speech and debate for youth. Due to his strong interest in public policy, he has worked with national think tanks and volunteered for congressional campaigns. He has served as the captain of his high school debate and mock trial teams. He has always cared about his health, the environment, and his values. While conducting research for this book, he realized that a full commitment to a plant-based diet was necessary to live up to the ideals and values he holds dear.
