Hundreds of years later, Karen Anderson decides she needs a fresh start and moves from Canada to join her grandmother and mother who are living in her family’s ancestral home in Clannbrae, Scotland. Although Karen cannot imagine that anything grim has ever happened in the small village, she soon learns from a fellow descendant that there is an underlying darkness surrounding Clannbrae. After an angel card reading prompts Karen to embark on an unexpected journey to uncover the mysteries of her family’s past, strange objects begin appearing that make some of the descendants fearful of what’s to follow and soon lead her to discover that a dark secret has been harbored for generations. In this suspenseful tale, a Canadian woman who returns to her family’s ancestral home in Scotland unwittingly uncovers the dark secrets surrounding her family’s past.
