About the Author
Katherine Hoopes, wife of the late Pastor Warren Hoopes, is mother to four, grandmother to eight, and great-grandmother to five. Over her 93 years, she has experienced the sadness that comes with the loss of many family pets, including some of the loveable characters you will meet in this story. Katherine is a retired public school music teacher and, as a violinist, privately taught many young string players while performing with several symphony orchestras. She makes her home in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
