Central Asia in the early 90’s was an unlikely place to fi nd a single woman traveling alone. But that’s exactly where the author was and what she was doing when the Soviet Union disintegrated into multiple small republics. A mishap with her Russian visa escalated into a threat of jail in a foreign country. Close on the heels of this near disaster, she found herself under the care of a Siberian dwarf who promptly deposited her into the hands of the Russian Army. About the Author
After struggling with an unpleasant year of cancer treatment, the author began taking art classes as a way to help overcome the fog and depression left by chemotherapy. A random assignment in cartooning facial expressions and a foray into fractured fairytales developed into a love for illustrated storytelling...and for making her friends laugh!
