About the Book
Matthias Lofton and his dragon partner, Feronia, are trained monster hunters who have been assigned to investigate the mysterious disappearance of an entire wild dragon brood. As they head toward a secluded mountain valley, they have no idea they are about to stumble onto a horrifying scene. After they see two decapitated dragon heads lying on the ground along with the bodies of youngling dragons, Matthias and Feronia must immediately exorcise a demon totem from a manticore, attempt to decipher a strange message, and assess whether there are traitors among the Rider Order. After they decide to embark on a two-day journey to the headquarters of the Loraidian Dragon Order, the monster hunters and the recovered manticore, Amir, head to the council chamber where they learn the totem may have been placed in Amir’s head to erase his memories. As a chain of events unfolds, now only time will tell if the three heroes can find the truth, before it is too late for them and the rest of their kind. In this action-packed fantasy, two dragons and a manticore must embark on a heroic journey through dangerous lands to identify traitors and capture a dark force with an evil plan.
About the Author
Donnie Odeh was adopted from the Philippines as an infant and has been writing and illustrating stories about dragons since he was very young. He is an avid gamer who holds a bachelor’s degree in music recording, and enjoys playing several instruments. Donnie currently lives with his rescue dog, Ana, in West Virginia. This is his debut novel.
