About the Book
At sixty-eight years old, newly divorced Ellen embarks on a solo adventure of a lifetime: a volunteer mission trip to exotic Tanzania. When she arrives, she is captivated by her surroundings and becomes equally enamored with the children in the school where she is assigned to teach. As her passion for teaching is kindled, so is her passion for a handsome Australian named Michael Banlock. As they both get to know one another amid their mutual altruism, Ellen discovers parts of herself that had long lain dormant. In time, she finds herself at a crossroads, confronted by questions few women of her generation ever face.
