About the Book

This metafiction novel may be considered a literary examination of a modern societal trend toward romantic relationships between people of different age groups. The main character of “60 plus” is married but falls in love with a beautiful 25-year young girl. Their short initial encounter in a gym does not develop beyond a few conversations as she is scheduled to relocate to another city. He is determined to challenge the circumstances and find her not knowing her contact information. The author offers two probable further developments of their true love affair under various external conditions. Those change a lot in the unusually twisted scenario. The action takes place in different locations, countries, and time periods. Exceptionally romantic emotional and sexual relationships may intertwine with exotic journeys or dramatic mysterious adventures. To achieve such a wide diversity, the author incorporates his deep historical and geographical knowledge with broad life experience. The author may purposefully neglect stringent orthography rules conveying a character’s stream of consciousness or include poetic pieces into the narrative to enhance its emotional impact. Also draw attention multiple extensive epigraphs that help create specific atmosphere intended by the author in his writing. This is rarely seen in contemporary prose. These non-traditional techniques allow the author to show his discretion toward the characters and events not imposing it onto the readers. In conjunction with his modern, austere and concise writing style, this makes the book a diverse and captivating reading for literature lovers. It is sure to appeal to fiction readers who like to think while reading romance.
