I live in a beautiful place. In the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. Our small .home is perched atop a mountain top of 1328’ above sea level. Surrounded by trees in every direction that you look. Its a magnificent forest. It has a quarter mile gravel driveway to get to the top. Winding upwards with a couple of switchbacks. Our 5 acre lot affords us complete seclusion. If we so choose. No neighbors within our vision though. We like that aspect. Not that we’re hermits or anything we just value our privacy. We’re private people who work hard. We work our land all the time. You have to as Mother Nature is strong. If you’re not careful she’ll overtake you by just growing out of control. There’s always at the very least weeding to do. But with Mother Earths beauty everywhere. It’s a wonderful place to live especially if you’re tired of living in the hustle and bustle of life down in the flatlands.

Joe Macey is just your average joe, living in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. The thing he prizes most is family. Especially his beautiful wife. He is a spiritual man and is adamant that there is such a thing as love at first sight.
