“Jerry, I like you. You are a good guy. But what on earth makes you think you, a giraffe, can canoe??” Feather chirped. “Well,” began Jerry, “I don’t see why not! I can handle a canoe paddle with my two front legs! See?” Jerry picked up the gigantic Bombay leaf and pretended it was a canoe paddle. The sight was very awkward and funny to watch, but after a few strokes he got the hang of it and stroked the tree branch in smooth, flowing movements, a look of sheer contentment on his face. Feather was a little shaky about the idea, “Are you SURE you want to try this?”
