About the Book

Dear Readers, I would first like to thank everyone who helped me throughout my journey of my first book of poems, ‘A Modern Manuscript’. It means a lot to me for those who believed in the project and supported myself along the way. I first started my journey of the book approximately 8 years ago. I had always been interested in writing and publishing a book of poetry and decided to put my love for nature, astronomy and love together into a complete anthology of work. I am an avid lover of the arts and therefore wanted to contribute to the community in a positive manor by creating my first project this book you are about to endure on reading. I hope that each reader gathers a deeper interest into poetry and also the arts and with this the different aspects poetry has to offer. I look forward to hearing everyone’s opinions and also hope that the book touches each and every reader in retrospect to their own life journey and goals in both life and love. I want each and every reader to take what they read and turn it into positivity and act upon their own passions in life. I hope to inspire people of all ages and races in this life. My main goal with the book was to display my own life through writing and therefore offer love and support to others throughout theirs. Love always, Christina.

About the Author

I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read my book, as it means the world to myself. I am a female writer based out of the United States. I currently maintain a career, alongside my passion for writing. I developed a love for poetry from visiting the library as a young child. I am a deep lover of the arts and love to spend my time reading, writing and exploring museums and art galleries. I have a passion for helping others and like to volunteer and work with the homeless in my spare time. I feel that giving back to the community helps us gain a sense of self gratification. I wanted to have my book read by all ages and choose a variety of different poems for the manuscript for that reason. I hope to continue to write and express my love for the arts throughout the next century. Finally, I want others to pursue their passion and dream for whatever that maybe and never give up hope in life. It’s with great pleasure that I say I hope you enjoy my work and the manuscript.
