About the Book
a door closed, a door opened, a storm raged, a feast enjoyed yes, a new song sung from everlasting to everlasting you are God We live four lives, each with successes, failures, and strengths. Adjusting to each new life takes courage and faith in a God who abounds in every blade of grass, in every storm on every sea, in every laughing child, in every parent, in hard work, and sometimes in lost dreams. Throughout all the storms, He faithfully holds our hand, offering comfort as change opens a new door to greater joy. In a collection of inspirational short stories and poems, Wade Peterson inspires believers to see how God helps them navigate all the joys and diffi cult moments that life brings. Within his writings, he refl ects on diverse topics such as his father and uncle who served in the Second World War, his wife and children, his adventure hiking over three thousand miles of the Appalachian and Pacifi c Crest Trails, and his faith in God to carry him through it all.
