About the Book
Prayer was never meant to be a routine—it was meant to be relationship. In Prayer Changes Everything, Dr. Dee Greathouse invites you into a life of true communion with Abba—where prayer is no longer an obligation, but a living, breathing connection with the One who created you. This is not about perfect words or religious patterns. It is about alignment—aligning your mind, your heart, your spirit, and your life with the frequency of Heaven. Through transparency, lived experience, and revelatory teaching, you will discover how to: • approach Abba with confidence and authenticity • posture your mind and heart to hear His voice clearly • develop discipline that strengthens your spiritual walk • cultivate consistency that produces lasting transformation • walk in the Spirit daily, aligned with your divine nature Prayer does not just change circumstances—it transforms you. When you align with Abba, you begin to walk as Jesus walked— as a spirit having a human experience, not a human having spiritual encounters. I pray because I know that the heartfelt, continuous prayer of one in right standing with Abba is heard and answered. This is your invitation to return to the Source. DR. DEE GREATHOUSE
About the Author
I was born in Boise, Idaho in 1941, just before the war broke out. When my dad was discharged from the Army, we moved all around from job to job, all here in the NW. I grew up like any other kid. When I was eighteen I joined the Navy. I got married just before I was released from the Navy in 1963. My wife introduced me to the Lord Jesus in 1966. I began to grow spiritually very quickly, thanks to some committed young Christians that lived next door and the local Pastor who got me started in doing Bible study. When we moved to the Portland area, I attended Multnomah Bible college (back then it was called Multnomah School of the Bible). I attended for only a couple of years, until my wife passed away in 1971. I eventually remarried and we settled into a great church in North Portland. I used my Bible knowledge to teach the adults, using pre-written material. By the late ’70’s or early ’80’s I began writing my own material. When we moved to Vancouver in ’79, we started attended a growing church, that went from about sixty attendees to over four hundred. I have taught adult SS for about forty-five years. In that time I also taught home Bible studies to growing Christians; at one time I had five home Bible studies going on each week. During that time I have served on the Mission Board, been a Deacon and an Elder, and served on the church staff. Yes, I am self taught, but so was Moody and Spurgeon, not the I am anything like them. I have enjoyed teaching the Word of God, and have grown from it. Nobody grows more than the teacher. I have believed that teaching is my spiritual gift from the results; many of my students have gone on to become teachers and even missionaries. I have four children; three from my first wife and my second wife came into the family with one of her own. They are all grown now.
