About the Book

An epic look at the duality of man and the accomplishments that derive from the basics and forever changing aspects of society. In the sense of the Sphinx built by the Egyptians, society must conform to the waves of time that spiral downward in the abyss known as life. The Truth is a work that defines the genre of previously established written word. Murillo establishes himself as an everyman, a basic observer in a complicated entanglement of emotions and feelings. Much like Pies or Ogres of fairy-tale lore derived from basic society, the book has layers that can only be observed when sniffed out. Murillo’s Colombian heritage plays an important part in the transition of society and the basic change. Here, we see Murillo’s transition into the concept of the nuclear family, the yearning to be an ideal husband, and the art of soccer in America. Much like the work of Chuck Palahniuk, The Truth: What Else Could the Mendicant Think if Always the Same Coin explores the darkness of life as well as the beauty that resides in such darkness. This book will forever change the way you think about life, love, and dancing.

About the Author

Jonathan Murillo brings to the world of writing his professional soccer experience, once as a player and now as a coach who dedicates to help every kid no matter their level, especially kids who are placed to the side. He was born in Medellín Colombia on November 21, 1976, but the States has been his home since he was three years old and is grateful for both countries playing an important role in his love for writing. The style of writing that he demonstrates to the reader is a form that helps understand the loss of translation seen in many expressions that from English and Spanish, as he writes in English but is thinking in Spanish––giving an end result of a tantalizing window into how cultures converge in the world of soccer which is a universal language. Jonathan Murillo’s faith in God illuminates his path in the pursuit of protecting the most precious gift which we are granted–– our family. Each word that he places on paper is for the purpose of strengthening relationships in families around the world, in simply seeing how we need only the love of our family and not the distractions by moments that will only impede the growth toward the greatness of our own family. Caring for and respecting our own life will lead us to great guidance once we listen with dedication to our loved ones and the teachings of our Lord. To know someone is what creates a course of an endless amount of new possibilities. The treasure that lies in a moment of caring for who you happen to cross paths with initiates a future with a solid foundation. We exist, thanks to a crossing of paths from our parents. And demonstrating how important this moment is, our Father gave his love for us––to keep us in peace––on a cross. Patience is what brings you closer to know more of what she has encountered through a life full of actions. This can determine who you are and the path you choose, for the journey we all have known to be as the moment that sparks life.
