About the Book
For more than half a century, Star Trek has challenged audiences to imagine a better future. Beneath the starships and spectacle lies something even more enduring: language. In Star Trek Speaks: The Films, Darrell James explores the wit, wisdom, and moral insight embedded in the dialogue of the ten original feature films. Drawing on decades of experience as an actor and teacher of drama, he examines how a single line can illuminate courage, sacrifice, identity, leadership, and what it means to be human. This is a guided exploration of the ideas that have kept Star Trek alive in the hearts and minds of generations.
About the Author
Darrell James is a veteran actor and former college professor whose career spans more than three decades in theater, film, and television. He lives and writes in Montana.
