In the beginning God was hovering across the waters. What that means to me, Is that water it’s sustainable. It is something that God hovered above in the beginning of everything. Water was there and the earth wasn’t. God flooded the earth with water, to wipe out all his creation and start all over again and cleanse the earth. And God parted the waters to save his people from slavery. God also told Moses to tell his sons, if they feel unclean, go take a bath with water. The priest sprinkle people with holy water. Water purifies and sanctifies. Now Jesus was baptized in water. In a woman’s womb a baby is submerged in water. The water did not turn to wine at the wedding that people believe that it was the first miracle of Jesus. Jesus would never turn water into wine. In the King James Version this is clearly stated. Jesus wouldn’t give people wine when the Bible says no drunkenness. Jesus told the lady at the well, that he can give her living water. Now this is interesting, Jesus said the water would be living water. I will define living water.
At the Passover Jesus told two disciples to go over to the town, and there was going to be a man standing at the gate, with a pitcher of water. He then instructed the disciples to ask the man to take them up to the room and prepare the Passover. They went up to the room with the water and prepared the table. Then the disciples came in. Jesus had to tell the disciples that he wasn’t going to drink the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes. Because it was water in the cup. He asked them to pass it around, but they couldn’t believe what was in the cup and that’s why he had to explain to them, that he wasn’t going to drink the fruit of the vine. And then Jesus said drink this in remembrance of me as often as you can. Therefore, the gift that he was trying to give to the world is purification, sanctification, and LIVING WATER. Also, a way to stay in prayer all the time.
The next day after the Passover, Jesus was crucified. They hung him on the cross and stuck a spear in his side. Only to find what came out of his side was water.
This brings me to a full circle of The Holy Ghost. I fell in the water, which I consider being baptized, cleansed, and sanctified. Then I was given instructions from my cousin Veronica who tried to help me understand what to do in this world. And that was to explain to everyone what happened underwater.
Ephesians 5: 25-27
(25) Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, (26) that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, (27) that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
