“No way,” Gordy shouted as he pulled a blue and white trimmed Junior Sunday Golf Bag with 6 clubs out of the box. When he made his birthday wish list, golf clubs and a bag were at the top, but Gordy wasn’t sure his parents would actually check the list. Inspecting the driver, irons, sand wedge and putter, Gordy pulled the driver with an oversized club head from the bag, proudly claiming, “I’ll crush the ball with this club,” as he prepared to take a full swing. “Not so fast, tiger,” his dad abruptly interrupted, and grabbed the driver mid-swing. “We don’t practice inside the house.”

About the Book
It’s a birthday wish come true for ten-year-old Gordy, who received golf clubs for his birthday. He can’t wait to play a round of golf with his dad. Besides rules, Gordy is surprised to learn there is something called golf etiquette as well. And he quickly discovers driving and putting are not quite as easy as the pros make it look on TV. But Gordy is determined to practice and beat his father at a round of golf one day!
