About the Book
This collection of essays lovingly depicts the wonder, joy and challenges of motherhood through humor and sensitivity. These short stories, all drawn from the author’s own journey, will make the reader laugh, cry, remember, and perhaps gain some insight into one of life’s toughest and most rewarding jobs. With an abundance of love, this writer reflects on not only her own childhood and how it impacted the next generation of mothering, but on navigating marriage, work and three sons quite close in age. In recounting the tales of their lifetime, from birth to adulthood, she spins an entertaining narrative of what mothers give to children and what they receive in return. This is a book for all who are mothers, who hope to be mothers, who have loved a mother, and who have accompanied a friend or relative on that treasured path.
