About the Book

One rainy Saturday morning, Detective Matt Jansen is paid an unexpected visit in his office by an entrancing woman. She lays out the tale of her father’s murder, which took place over twenty years earlier. Matt soon becomes entrenched in this cold case, running up against local law enforcement and former Mafia dons that ruled the streets of Newport, Kentucky, back in the 1960s. It seems some secrets were meant to stay buried, and now Matt will have to put the long-hidden pieces of the puzzle together before he and his loved ones end up in grave danger.

About the Author

Mr. Thomas resides with his wife Tami in Henderson, Nevada. They have numerous pets including a white English bulldog named Tank and a black cat named Tux as well as several saltwater fish. Mr. Thomas is now retired and writing several thriller novels. He spent over forty years working in business management, specifically in building construction and maintenance. He has a bachelor of business degree in marketing from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s in finance from St. Louis University.
