About the Book

THE TOWER HOUSE Eleanor visits the Isle of Mull for a day’s outing and finds she must stay overnight because the return ferry is full. There she meets Richard who offers her a bed for the night if she helps him catch some goat kids. Eleanor spends a week with Richard on Mull, where she learns he has a sporting vacation business and a Tower House under renovation. A holiday romance begins, at the end of which she must return to the States. Richard visits her in America and asks her to move to Scotland to see if they could have a future together. Eleanor leaves for Scotland with her best friend, Alice, who Richard offers a job. Eleanor starts the running of one of Richard’s new businesses and also helps find a secret passage and armory in his grandfather’s house. Eleanor is taken hostage when the Tower House is put under siege from people wanting to take a treasure found in the tower’s passages, and has to rely on Richard to free her. Will Eleanor be able to settle into a quiet Scottish life and marry Richard after everything that has happened?
