Tom Vance receives a phone call from Kyle Wright his boss in Washington DC. He initially thought that he wanted to discuss something related to his position in South Korea monitoring the Ring of Fire but this conversation was completely different. It was the summer of Year 2020 and the terrorist fighting was still continuing inside Afghanistan. Afghanistan continues the tale of two energetic geologists as they arrive in Afghanistan to launch mining operations they hope will bring positive change and help the war-weary country become financially stable.
